Arbor Walk Committee Descriptions

 

 

Pool Committee

  • Make gate keys as needed and leave at the Arbor Walk office
  • Reserve pool parties – get deposits, contracts, put signs out at least 1 day before party, email reserved dates to Joe Hajjar (or current webmaster) to be posted on the website
  • Inspect pool area after parties for return of deposit or contact cleaning service to have area cleaned
  • Inform office of any other issues (ie, cleaning supplies needed, etc.)
  • Enforce pool rules as necessary

 

Decorating Committee

·        Create design ideas for front entrance and purchase supplies according to budget

·        Put up and take down front entrance decorations, store decorations in pool shed or other designated area

·        Make recommendations for other decorating ideas

 

Welcoming Committee

  • Design welcome package for new residents to include written info and other items, purchase supplies according to budget
  • Assemble welcome packages, coordinate with Julie Rolling at Arbor Walk office to find out about new residents, contact and welcome new residents

 

Landscaping/Beautification Committee

  • Operate within given budget to address landscaping issues such as removal of fallen trees in greenspace areas or garden homes, improving existing landscaping, and beautifying drainage detention areas
  • Make recommendations for new landscaping projects
  • Contact necessary persons to accomplish above tasks
  • Assist homeowners’ board with enforcement of restrictive covenants (ie, keeping grass cut, ensuring approval is sought for tree removal, having designated number of trees in yard, etc.)

 

Gate Committee

  • Ensure gate is working properly and is opening and closing at designated times – address gate issues with approved vendor
